Flames could be seen from both Interstates

One man is recovering at a metro hospital after a three-alarm apartment fire on Sunday night.

Officials said four apartments were damaged at the Crossroads Village Apartments in south Oklahoma City at about 6:15 p.m.

Neighbors rescued one man who they saw asleep inside. Officials said flames could be seen from both Interstates 240 and 35; however, firefighters were able to get control of the blaze pretty quickly.

The one man who was injured is expected to be OK by Monday.
