Investigators were looking for the cause of a fire in a two-story Camden home that sent 10 people to local hospitals Thursday night.
One of three children taken from the scene was reported to be in critical condition, officials said.
Flames were reported at about 9:25 p.m. inside the two-story home on the 3000 block of Alabama Road.
Upon arrival, firefighters reported heavy fire on the first floor and thick smoke on the second floor.
The blaze was reported to be under control within 15 minutes, and investigators were on the scene past 11 p.m. searching through debris, trying to find a cause for the flames.
Ten people were transported to either Cooper Medical Center or Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
Authorities said seven of the people -- four adults and three children -- were occupants of the home that burned. The critically-injured child was expected to survive, NBC 10's Mike Strug reported.
It wasn't clear which residence the other three people were from, nor the extent of their injuries, although officials said none were considered life-threatening.
