An apartment fire on Madison's West Side kept firefighters busy on Saturday night.
Firefighters were called to the Watts Road area at about 8 p.m. after smoke was spotted.
The two-alarm blaze broke out in the apartments located at 6 South Burburry Drive.
Madison firefighters said that the blaze started in the upper level of a multi-unit building; three of the apartments are no longer livable.
Damage is estimated to be more than $250,000.
Firefighters told WISC-TV that they were able to contain the fire quickly because there wasn't much attic space due to the apartments' cathedral ceilings.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire.
