Flordia Family Left Homeless After Clothes Dryer Fire

Firefighters managed to rescue and resuscitate three dogs that were in the house.

A Tuesday morning clothes dryer fire in Hialeah has left a family homeless.

The family said the fire was caused by lint in the ventilation duct.

Firefighters managed to rescue three dogs that were in the house. The dogs were unconscious when they were pulled out, but firefighters resuscitated them.

The mother and son who were in the house also made it out safely.

"Hopefully we can find help. My mom and sister are OK. That's all I care about," said Pedro Lassus, who survived the fire.

Because the house is still unsafe to live in, the family will likely stay with relatives.
