Maynardville, Tennessee-- State troopers are investigating a head-on crash involving a fire truck, which sent four people to the hospital.

Union County dispatchers tell WVLT the accident happened just after 5:30 p.m. Monday night outside of Maynardville.

Investigators say firefighters from Northeast Union Volunteer Fire Department were responding to a tractor fire when they collided with a car on a blind curve on Circle Drive, which dispatchers say is very narrow.
