A fire at a northwest Albuquerque restaurant led authorities to close Alameda Boulevard just west of Coors for about an hour early Friday morning.
Firefighters were called to a fire at The Golden Corral restaurant at about 4 a.m.
Fire officials said when firefighters arrived at the restaurant, thick smoke kept them from immediately locating the fire.
Firefighters believe the fire started in the grill area, but are investigating to determine the exact cause.
No one was injured.
Alameda Boulevard was reopened to traffic at about 5 a.m.
