The house on South Minster Lane is nearby a house fire reported earlier Friday morning on Nevin Glenn Road. That fire was so strong that it melted siding on a neighbor's house next told. Eyewitness News was told that the home owners had just bought the house a few weeks ago.
Firefighters also were busy battling a two-alarm fire in South Charlotte. A house on the 2200 block of Trapper Court, near Providence Road, caught on fire around 3:30 a.m. Friday morning. No one was inside but the house sustained significant damage. The house was recently purchased by new owners and was undergoing renovations.
No other houses in the neighborhood were damaged. No injuries have been reported
