SAN ANTONIO --

Authorities said they had to treat four people and evacuate apartments Tuesday morning after a toxic mix of cleaning solutions left a foul odor at an apartment complex.

Authorities evacuated two apartments and EMS treated tenants while the hazardous material team searched for the source of the smell.

Hazmat crews were called out to the 5300 block of Northwest Loop 410 and Evers Road at the Rolling Ridge Square Apartment Complex after a tenant complained about the smell.

Firefighters said they believe cleaning solutions that were unproperly mixed caused the scare.

A firefighter dispatcher said everyone returned to their apartments without incident and no one was seriously injured.
