None of the nearby firefighters were hurt

Police were at the club investigating a complaint involving overcrowding when the shots were fired.

Two Metro police officers and the fire department were trying to figure out if there were too many people inside when the gunshots went off.

Police said the shots were fired inside and outside of the club. At least four people were hit. Three were rushed to the hospital. The fourth one was privately transported. None of the injuries are serious.

One of the bullets hit a fire truck and left a mark, but none of the fire fighters were hurt.

Police charged one person, Ray Pitts, 21, with the shooting, and investigators are still looking for the other people who could be involved.

The club uses security, but police don't know if the security officers screen for guns. There have been other shootings near or in the King of Clubs over the past few months.
