A firefighter is injured in an early-morning house fire.
Authorities were called to the area of 105 Street and Nebraska Avenue after 4 a.m. Monday.
Crews from Irvington and Bennington fire departments responded to the fire.
The Irvington Fire Department said that when it arrived, the house was completely engulfed in flames.
It took about 15 minutes to bring the blaze under control. All four family members inside the house were able to escape safely.
Firefighters said that a firefighter fell through some stairs and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The state fire marshal is investigating to determine the cause of the fire. The Nebraska Red Cross is helping the family.
