Four Rescued from Nebraska House Fire

The child was taken to a hospital as a precaution, but no one was seriously hurt, firefighters said.

OMAHA, Neb. --

Four people were rescued after their home caught fire overnight.

Firefighters went to the home near 25th and Pinkney streets at about 4:45 a.m. Thursday. Fire officials said two people had to be rescued off a roof porch.

A mother and her child also had to be rescued from the back of the home.

The child was taken to a hospital as a precaution, but no one was seriously hurt, firefighters said.

The fire is under investigation.
