Nebraska Firefighters Battle House Fire for Hours

A family who lives near Irvington, Nebraska will have to find a new place to sleep after a massive fire ripped through their home.

Irvington fire crews arrived to find heavy smoke and flames pouring from a house at 7524 North 97th Plaza around 3:30 Sunday morning. The homeowners called 911 and got everyone out okay.

It took hours for firefighters to get a handle on it. The cause is still under investigation.
