Five southeast Houston houses were damaged Thursday night after flames quickly spread from one of the homes.
The blaze started at about 9:30 p.m. inside the garage of a home on Canfield Street and Holman Street, but quickly spread to four other homes on the same street.
Three homes received minor damage. The fourth home was destroyed. Authorities have not said what damage the fifth home sustained.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
