A two-alarm fire engulfed an empty church in Pleasant Grove Tuesday evening.
The fire broke out at the former home of Harmony Christian Church in the 8000 block of CF Hawn.
Flames and smoke poured out of the building as firefighters broke apart the roof to fight the blaze.
The fire appeared mostly contained by 6 p.m.
According to the church's Web site, the congregation has moved to a building in Lancaster.
