A mother was awakened by her 3-year-old child just in time to escape a fire that gutted their home on Tuesday morning.
The blaze broke out at a wood-frame house near the corner of Lindy Avenue and Leggett Street at about 11:30 a.m.
Sonya Dunigan said that when she woke up, she saw a huge fire but was able to grab her two children and escape.
"(I lost) all my things, things that can't be replaced, like baby pictures. Everything I have was in there," she said.
So far, investigators have not determined the cause of the fire.
