Four businesses were destroyed in a fire and the business owners will decide whether or not to rebuild, NewsChannel5 reported.
One of the businesses was a crane repair shop that has been around since the 1980s.
The chilly temperature made it difficult for fire crews to battle the fire.
The fire broke out about 7 p.m. Thursday near Miles Avenue and Aurora Road.
Sixty firefighters from eight departments battled the blaze.
In addition to the fire, the firefighters had to deal with the cold temperature and wind chills.
At one point the area in front of the fire became a sheet of ice from all the water. Salt was put down on the area to break up the ice.
"It's not easy on anybody. These type of conditions is when we make our pay and then some, said Lt. Dave Revello of the Warrensville Heights Fire Department.
