Fire officials said one person is dead and another in Shock Trauma after fire ripped through an apartment building overnight in northwest Baltimore.
Officials said the fire broke out just before midnight in the 5500 block Gwynn Oak Avenue. When firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from the second floor.
Once inside, firefighters found the body of an adult man.
Officials said a female who jumped out of a second-story window was taken to Shock Trauma. There is no word on her condition at this time.
