May 10, 2006
Two firefighters and a resident were taken to the hospital for exhaustion.

Five people are homeless after an apartment building caught on fire in Monongahela overnight.

The owner of the home and two firefighters were taken to area hospitals with smoke inhalation and exhaustion.

Investigators said someone was making french fries and started a grease fire.

The fire quickly spread and engulfed the home.

The fire eventually reached five alarms before it was brought under control.

A neighbor, Alan Anderson, took some pictures of the fire and sent them to Channel 11.
