A brief report from the Associated Press of Rhode Island indicates a crazed Woonsocket man attacked two firefighters with a cane sword. The firefighters were attempting to rescue the man from a smoke-filled home.
According to local police reports, Ferenc Orsos initially threatened the firefighters before attacking them. Officers needed to taser Orsos four times to subdue him.
No firefighters were harmed from the incident. The AP account did not provide a motive for Orsos' attack, but reports that he was taken to a hospital for treatment and will now face charges.
