A massive tire fire continues to burn at a West Virginia warehouse.

Thick black smoke could be seen billowing out of the Bethel Park-based JMD Company building in Nitro.

That's near Charleston, W.Va.

The tires belong to U.S. Tire Recovery.

Nearly 2,000 people who live near the blaze have been told to shut all their doors and windows.

They are also being asked not run their air conditioners.

Thirteen fire companies from two counties are fighting the flames.

Officials said U.S. Tire Recovery missed a deadline last month to dispose of the 50,000 tires that are now burning.
