(New York -WABC, October 4, 2005) - Two tanker trucks collided at Hunts Point Avenue and Bruckner Blvd. right under the Bruckner Expressway in the Bronx.
The fire department is at the scene, but they are having difficulty gaining access to this fire.

The FDNY is reporting a petroleum truck fully engulfed. The truck is on a small bridge over train tracks - train service has been suspended in the area.
The flames are intense, and the smoke is so thick and so black that it is impossible to see if there is in fact a second tractor trailer involved. No injuries have been reported at this time.
The number 6 subway line is suspended between 3rd Ave. and Parkchester Ave. in the Bronx.
The Bruckner expressway is closed both ways by the Hunts Point drawbridge. Bruckner Blvd. and Hunts Point Avenue are also closed both ways.
Amtrak power has been affected in and out of Connecticut. There is no Amtrak service between Hell Gate Bridge and Westchester County.
Fire department officials are requesting MTA, Con Ed and gas-electric representatives to respond to the location. The FDNY staging point is set up at Garrison Ave. and Whittier Street.
