Firefighters were hurt battling a blaze in Braddock Sunday.

Three were hurt when they fell on ice trying to put out a fire at a condemned apartment building.

A fourth firefighter fell when a floor collapsed, but was not hurt.

The fire chief said salt crews were late getting to the scene.

Fire Chief Tom Petrovic said, "Weather is a factor right now. With the power shut down, our street department can't get out of the garage with their trucks. So, from what I understand we have North Braddock and Forest Hills coming into assist."

Investigators believe homeless people may have been using candles for heat and light, which could have started the blaze.
