Maintenance Workers in Maryland Help People Out of Burning Building

No injuries were reported in the blaze that remains under investigation.

Officials in Montgomery County are trying to find the cause of an apartment fire in Silver Spring.

The blaze broke out at the Ken Mil Apartments about 2:30 p.m. Thursday. Fire officials said they believe it started in a first-floor apartment.

Several people were trapped inside, but maintenance workers helped remove people from the burning building until firefighters got there.

The fire was quickly knocked down.

No injuries were reported.
