A Houston firefighter spent some time in a hospital Friday after he suffered an injury while fighting a fire in southeast Houston.
The firefighters suffered a cut above his eye while rolling up fire hoses after extinguishing flames that gutted a small wood-frame home on Willow Glen Drive and Crestmont Street shortly after midnight.
Authorities said no one was home when the fire broke out.
Investigators suspect an electrical problem sparked the flames.
