Maryland Firefighter Hurt in Three-Alarmer

Baltimore firefighters remained at the scene of the blaze Monday morning.

Baltimore firefighters are mopping up at the scene of a 3-alarm fire early Monday in the Pimlico neighborhood.

The fire was reported about 4 a.m. in the 5500 block of Park Heights Avenue.

Capt. Roman Clark said the fire was in an addition behind a strip mall. Part of the roof collapsed, but no one was inside.

One firefighter had to be taken to a hospital to be treated for a cut to the head.

There's no word on the cause of the fire.
