A vacant portion of a factory building was heavily damaged in a fire early Tuesday.
The old Ball-Foster Glass Factory was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived shortly after 5:30 a.m.
The company closed in 2000. Other sections of the building are still being used as a warehouse and distribution center.
Several fire agencies battled the blaze. It was contained to one building and brought under control by 7:30 a.m. Firefighters remained at the scene later Tuesday morning.
Wooden shipping pallets in an adjoining building helped keep the flames from spreading, officials said.
Fire officials said they think the blaze began in the building's wooden rafters.
