At least one person is dead after a five-alarm house fire in Fayette County.

Firefighters spent four hours fighting the flames at the home overnight.

The fire tore through a two-story wood-frame home on Main Street in Whittset.

The fire started around 8:30 Sunday night.

There is no word on the victim's identity.
