People are shopping once again at the Wal-Mart in south Jackson after a fire shut down the store last week.
The chief fire investigator said the fire was deliberately set. He said surveillance video shows three people setting fire to items in the arts and crafts section of the store.
Jackson police are still searching for two men and a woman believed to have started the fire around 9 p.m. on Thursday.
Employees of the Highway 18 Wal-Mart spent all day Friday cleaning and restocking areas of the store destroyed by the fire.
Shoppers told WAPT they dont know what they would have done if the store was closed any longer.
"It would have affected me because I would have had to go a long way to go to Wal-Mart (Im) real glad, real glad," said Monica Hall, a Wal-Mart shopper.
Anyone with information about this case should call the Jackson Police Department at (601) 960-1234.
