Fire Rips Through New Orleans Home

No one was hurt in the fire that remains under investigation.

New Orleans firefighters are battling a two-alarm fire in the Esplanade Ridge neighborhood.

The fire started on one side of a duplex around 9 a.m. on Monday at the corner of North Johnson Street and St. Philip.

WDSU reporter Ken Jones says there was someone living in the house. Fortunately, no one was injured.

The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
