The 95-year-old victim, who suffered burns, died at hospital.

Pawtucket police are looking for any information in connection with a suspicious fire that took the life of a 95-year old man.

Police said someone threw something through the front window of Nocenzo Vantis House. Police said the object ignited a sofa and curtains in the living room.

"At this time we're just looking at all approaches," said Lt. Dan Mullen of the Pawtucket Fire Department. "There's no obvious reason why this man was targeted."

Firefighters found Vanti in his bedroom with 2nd- and 3rd-degree burns on his legs. Vanti later died at Rhode Island Hospital.

Two firefighters were also injured in the blaze.

If you have any information, please call Pawtucket Police at 727-9100. There is a $5,000 reward.
