The Mon Incline is up and running after a slight hiccup on Monday night.

A group of Steelers fans from out of town came to Pittsburgh for Tuesday's victory parade -- never thinking they'd need to be rescued from a cliff 100 feet from the ground.

They were on the incline around 10 p.m. when about two minutes into a trip on the Mon Incline, the incline stopped.

No power.

Nothing.

"Luckily, the friends we're with had cell phones and they were on top. Next thing you know, major happening. Fire department is here trying to get us out," said Tony Morales.

Morlaes was part of the group made up mostly of Steelers fans from New Jersey.

They were heading up to meet friends on Mount Washington for some celebrating.

Trapped, they were stuck without heat and faced a tricky way down.

"No heat. It's cold. And the railing on that truck is cold. My hands were freezing. That was the hardest part of the whole thing," said Scott Kuppel.

Firefighters used an ax to open one of the car's windows.

Slowly, everybody was helped down. It took two hours to get everybody out.

Despite getting sidetracked, most of the people involved were in good spirits. And everybody made it down safe and sound.

"I'm a big diehard Steelers fan. I'd come from everywhere to see the parade. It's been a long time," said Morales.
