Honolulu firefighters rescued a 22-year-old man who plunged more than 100 feet below the H-3 Freeway early Monday morning.
It happened at about 1:20 a.m. in the Kaneohe-bound direction of the freeway, about a half-mile before tunnels.
Officials found a car parked on the side of the freeway with its motor running and there was someone screaming for help, according to authorities.
Firefighters lifted the man back to the freeway. Paramedics treated the man and took him to Queens Medical Center, where he was last listed in stable condition.
