Chicago firefighters made a dramatic rescue of a mother and son from a burning South Side home Monday night.
The fire broke out in a home in the 6900 block of South Paulina Avenue in the Englewood neighborhood.
Officials said when emergency crews first arrived on the scene, the home was fully engulfed in flames.
The woman had stopped breathing when she taken out of the home by firefighters, but she was revived at a local hospital where she was being treated, along with her son. Their conditions were not released.
Officials aren't sure what sparked the blaze.
Two firefighters were also treated and released from a local hospital.
