Three teens in Osceola County, Fla., were arrested Tuesday in connection with a playground fire that sent toxic fumes into a nearby neighborhood, according to a Local 6 News report.

Investigators said the vandals ignited the children's playground at Strawford Park in the Buenventura Lakes subdivision in Osceola County over the weekend, near the location of another playground fire earlier this month.

The fire sent dangerous fumes near homes.

"One whiff of that could actually send you into euphoria and possibly just kill you on the spot," fire investigator Detective Juan Bailey said. "It is that toxic."

Minutes before the fire ignited, neighbors reported seeing three teens running from the playground.

"They were running and laughing," neighbor Mark Zocchi said. "We saw a young girl and two boys. And they ran and jumped into a car parked at the end of the park here and took off."

Witnesses grabbed a tag number on the car and investigators tracked down the teens.

All three teens were charged with criminal mischief.

The group said they were playing with fire and it got out of control, according to the report.

The culprits were not identified in the report.

Detectives said the latest fire was likely not connected to another playground blaze in the area.
