Firefighters Battle D.C. Blaze

About 60 firefighters quickly arrived

Authorites are investigating a rowhouse fire that broke out early Friday morning in Northwest Washington.

The fire started at about 3 a.m. at the building in the 1200 block of New Jersey Avenue.

About 60 firefighters quickly arrived and put out the flames.

It appears that the building was vacant and was being renovated.

There were no reports of injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
