Firefighters put out a garage fire early Sunday in Tustin and then found two bodies inside a car in the garage.

Firefighters and police sent to a home in the 16500 block of Lorelei Laneshortly after 2 a.m. found the garage engulfed in flames, according to Tustin police Sgt. Jeff Blair.

Once the fire was put out, two bodies were found inside a car that was in the garage, Blair said.

The residents, whose names were withheld, told police a 14-year-old boy was missing, but no other information was made available as to who the other person might be, Blair said.

The cause of fire was not immediately known. No one else was reported injured in the fire.
