For the second time this week, the Bellevue fire department responds to a fire early Sunday morning.
Firefighters on the scene said around 3:45 a.m. someone called 911 to report the house on fire.
Heavy smoke and flames were pouring from the front of the house when firefighters arrived.
Investigators told KETV NewsWatch 7 the family was in the process of painting and was not home at the time of the fire.
Last Monday, firefighters were called to the same home after someone left food on the stove.
No one was injured in either incident.
