A fire at the former Newberry Elementary School was under investigation late Saturday night Local 4 reported.
The fire moved to two alarms and investigators believe may have started in the annex of the old school building on Detroit's west side.
Firefighters were investigating the possibility squatters inside the building may have started the fire. No one was hurt.
