EL PASO, Texas --
Stones that once led to the home of the Arenas family now lead to a pile of burned memories and belongings.
"I didn't know what to say. It was hard for my mom and my family to know that it was happening to them," said Erica Navarro.
What started as a brushfire behind the family home didn't take long to devour the Arenas home.
The fire spread form one home to another, at one point crossing Socorro Road.
"I was scared; everyone was scared. We were panicking because we couldn't see anything," said Olga Navarro of Sundays blaze.
Monday morning the family got their first look at what the violent flames left behind.
Yesterday, more than 50 fire fighters were at the scene from Horizon, Clint, San Elizario and El Paso. The good news out of it all was no one was hurt.
Now the family knows it will have to start over.
"They lost everything they don't even know what to do now," said Olga Morales.
