Firefighters Hurt in Rhode Island Blaze

It took firefighters more than an hour to bring the blaze under control.

Two firefighters were hurt battling a house fire in Providence at about 10 p.m. Tuesday.

The flames spread from 75 Messer Street to a house next door. It took over an hour to bring the fire under control. The Red Cross is helping at least a dozen people find shelter.

There's no word on the condition of the injured firefighters.
