BALTIMORE --

Officials are investigating an incident in which a firefighter fell off a fire engine while responding to a call.

Firefighter and paramedic Bryan Isaacs has been released from Shock Trauma following the accident last week. He is undergoing rehabilitation.

He was sitting inside the rear compartment of the truck last Thursday when a door swung open, causing him to fall off the truck and onto the street.

Officials said they are looking into whether Isaacs was wearing a seatbelt at the time.
