PHILADELPHIA --

A Philadelphia fire truck crashed into a car as it rushed to a row home that was burning out of control Thursday morning.

Police said the driver of the car suffered what appeared to be minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

The crash happened at 52nd and Walnut streets.

The firefighters onboard the truck were on their way to a house fire on the 6200 block of Carpenter Street.

Fire officials said three men were taken to Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania as a result of the fire.

They said the victims' injuries did not seem to be life-threatening.

The fire has since been contained. It was not clear what sparked the blaze, or if any charges would be filed in the crash.
