A firefighter has been arrested after he admitted to breaking into a fire station and stealing a saw, Miami-Dade police said.
Clinton Owens was stopped in his truck last month during a traffic stop. That's when police said they observed a saw with Miami-Dade Fire-Rescue Department insignia on it in the truck bed.
Police said Owens, 34, admitted to stealing the saw from a nearby fire station so he could pawn it to buy drugs.
Owens is charged with burglary and grand theft.
