Exploding ammunition saved a Henry County man's life.
The homeowner says the sound of exploding bullets woke him up early this morning. Then he realized his home was on fire.
The house on Minter Road near Highway 1941 was destroyed.
Flames were shooting through the roof when firefighters arrived.
The man, and his two dogs, were able to get out of the burning house unharmed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
