Another brush fire broke out in New Jersey Monday afternoon, coming close to a major highway.

The flames erupted near routes 3 and 17 in East Rutherford, near the Meadowlands sports complex. Dry conditions and a stiff breeze kept the flames alive.

Firefighters from several towns were needed to get the three-alarm fire under control.

There is no word yet on the exact cause.
