Firefighters battled a large fire at the Season's Lodge and Conference Center on State Road 46, just east of Nashville, Tuesday morning.
The blaze, which began at about 3 a.m., raged for several hours before it was extinguished. Lodge employees were able to get all of the guests out safely.
"We're very fortunate. I believe we had 18 guests removed from the structure during the fire," said State Fire Marshal Roger Johnson. "There was heavy smoke in the hallways initially. Then, the fire broke loose and consumed two of the wings of the hotel."
State Road 46 remains blocked as fire crews work to put out hot spots.
