Philadelphia Firefighter Hurt in Blaze

The fire spread to three buildings before it was controlled.

A firefighter was injured while crews battled a building fire on the 6600 block of Woodland Avenue in Philadelphia Friday morning, according to fire officials.

Investigators arent sure what sparked the blaze that broke out in a building housing a bottom-floor store and upper-level apartments, but fire officials said the fire spread to two neighboring buildings before they brought it under control.

Officials did not immediately release the injured firefighters medical condition.
