Some local firefighters performed an unusual rescue after a construction worker became ill.
The worker was on the roof of the Dayton Mall Monday afternoon when he called for help after having problems breathing.
Using a ladder truck and a basket, Miami Township firefighters lowered the worker to the ground.
Firefighter said the incident was unusual but that they are always ready for just about anything.
Firefighters said the worker suffered from cardiac arrest.
He was taken to a local hospital . There is no word on his condition.
