Explosion Rattles Connecticut Apartment House

An apartment explosion in Naugatuck woke up neighbors Thursday morning.

The windows inside the residence at 72 Bridge Street are boarded up after firefighters got the call of an explosion.

The local fire chief said that a young couple and a baby were inside at the time of the explosion but were not hurt, NBC 30 reported.

Investigators are looking into the cause of the blast.
