Early-Morning Fire Damages New Mexico Home

Officials said flames erupted out of the two-story home, but everyone living there was able to get out.

Fire crews responding to an early-morning house fire in Bernalillo on Friday said the fire caused extensive damage.

Sandoval County's fire chief said crews responded to the home on Sheriff's Posse Road at about 4 a.m.

Officials said flames erupted out of the two-story home, but everyone living there was able to get out. Crews were able to contain the blaze to the lower portion of the home

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
